 Intrigue Sportscap is a handicapping site for NCAA and NFL football that uses a computer program to scan for disparities between the printed betting line and past results. Our computer system, named Stella, has been accurate a combined 64% in NCAA games and 63% on the NFL games in the past two years. To make the picks, Stella scans our database, which contains over 30 years of football results and statistics. Using the printed betting line against historical, recognized trends, she selects games where the spread makers will be wrong.
To prove our results, we post several free picks on our website every week. Check them out and plot our record to put our name and selections to the test. The rest of the games are available by subscription only. Point spreads vary slightly depending on the agency providing them. Intrigue uses the Wednesday Caesars-Hilton, Las Vegas, line when computing selections.
